Wuthering Heights 2011 Release Date

Ever since the release of the Heathcliff screen cap last week, things surrounding Wuthering Heights 2011 have begun to pick up. We've received a clue (or, in my eyes, a warning) that at least one of the key scenes is done rather differently (I really DO wonder which one) and now we've gotten the UK release date.

Lucky Brits! Only a month after the rapture of Cary Fukunaga's Jane Eyre, you will be enjoying the privilege of watching Wuthering Heights on November 11th. I'm still waiting waiting waiting for the US release date. Something gives me the slight inkling that we're probably going to have to wait for it. The problem with British-made movies is that in order to be shown in the US, an American film company has to pick it up. Lets cross our fingers and hope that Focus will step up to the plate since it seems that they're pretty renowned for going the "literary adaptations" route.

  1. Hello there! Thank you kindly for your comment and for pointing me in the direction of http://fortheloveoflit-litlover.blogspot.com/ definitely my bag! If you fancied writing a guest post that would be fantastic! It could be on anything you like. Would be great to hear a bit about the new Jane Eyre, it's not released over here yet! I was also wondering how you did the lettering and designy stuff on your blog? I am trying to make mine look better, but am a bit clueless and cack-eyed when it comes to designing things! Any hoo, if you were interested in a guest post, just email it on over to lizbankes@gmail.com. Lovely to hear from you!

  2. First off, thank you for visiting my blog! I'm always glad to have new followers. I'm also glad that I found your blog. If you want, I could do a guest post reviewing the new Jane Eyre adaption for you. I'll email it to you soon.

As for the blog design, I got the background from "shabbyblogs.com". If you google "blogger backgrounds" there are numerous sites that give you a pretty wide variety of backgrounds to choose from. When you pick one, they all give you the directions as to how to apply the background to your blog. To change your font style, go to your dashboard and click "design". Near the top of the page, click "template designer" and you'll be taken to a page that shows your blog and allows it to be edited by a bunch of tabs at the top. Click "advanced" and from there you can choose the font, size, and colors of all your words. :)
